I am a zone manager

Step 1: Register

If you have (manage, own, represent) a site / zone that complies with IPD criteria and want to offer the site to interested potential industrial production investors, please follow an easy to complete registration process.

Criteria:

  • Your site is 10 ha or more
  • Your site is designated by zoning as a production area
  • Infrastructure is in place or definite plans exist on how to build it
  • The site is serviced by an access road
  • There is a contact person who can show / present the site to potential customers

Fill-in your name, surname, and all necessary contact information and you will receive a notification that you have been enrolled into the database administration team.

Step 2: Add your zone / site

Once you are registered, please log into the system and change your password and access information. Please add bilingual information about your site in the database - Ukrainian and English. If you do not have English skills or would like a professional to check your English version please contact kisayenko@led.net.ua.

Please add relevant site documents and descriptions in MS Word or other formats along with pictures and maps of the site / zone. Make sure the pictures are web-optimized, i.e. generally do not exceed the limit of 200 KB per picture.

Save, view and modify the information if necessary.

Step 3: Update regularly

One of the key features of this online industrial sites database is that the information it contains is current since databases with obsolete records quickly loose their value to potential visitors and customers. To ensure continued popularity of this database, we require that you regularly update your site / zone information. Every six months if your entry has not been updated you will receive an e-mail alert reminding you to do so. If you neglect to update your site information it will be made invisible to potential investors. If your site has been made invisible please contact the LED/ FDI Assistance Team to discuss further listing options.

This service is offered for free until September 2008.

Step 4: Get in touch with investors

Sometimes you will be contacted via e-mail or phone by people who have been browsing information about available industrial sites in Ukraine on the internet. Not all of them will be potential investors but they could be. It is essential that you work with the leads in a systemic way, have a natural presentation scheme in place, and be available to show them around should they be interested enough to visit your site.

The database can only get you in touch with investors. It cannot sell the site for you. First, you must have a suitable site and second you must be able to present it and sell it.

If you have questions / seek advice or would like to receive training in FDI marketing skills please contact the LED/ FDI Assistance Team.
